ESCANABA — UP Health System Hospice and Jim’s Dairy Kreme invite all first responders and veteran’s to enjoy an ice cream cone on them and take part in a time to remember and a moment of silence on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

The event will be held Sunday, September 11, at Jim’s Dairy Kreme, 1201 Washington Avenue, Escanaba, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a Moment of Silence at 12:15 p.m.

“The community is welcome to join the camaraderie of this event and the Moment of Silence In honor and in memory of 9/11,” organizers said.
