ESCANABA — Escanaba Public Works said it will make every attempt to collect leaves from residents addresses on their garbage collection day. It is not possible to accurately inform residents of the exact day leaf collection will occur.

It is recommended that leaves are out by the curb on the day before garbage collection. Only leaves will be collected, sticks and other yard debris will not. Leaves should be raked to the street at the curb line. Please try to keep the curb clear if you have leaves out so the collection crew can access the leaves. Leaves will not be picked up with the regular garbage collection.

Leaf collection will run from approximately Monday to Nov. 12. Contact the Department of Public Works at 906-786-1842 with any questions.
