Looking at this local business front, the sign is now the NORMAL, starting a little over a year ago. Especially the help wanted, as seen how many available jobs there are in the Upper Peninsula, at least for the next several months. (Photo courtesy of Mary Jayne Hallifax)
And last, but certainly not least, is the newest motel in Munising. We would assume will be opening this year — the new Comfort Inn east of town. Looks beautiful and have seen it from the water and a really great view of Lake Superior (of course). (Photo courtesy of Mary Jayne Hallifax)
It appears that the Pictured Rocks golf course is anticipating an early opening as can be seen with the carts parked out in front. During the years, my husband enjoyed the golf course. I used to drive him out in the morning. He would proceed to golf (walking, never a cart ) the 18 holes and then he would walk back to Munising, which was (more) miles. However, I used to joke with him that at least the last 4 miles were downhill on the way back to Munising. (Photo courtesy of Mary Jayne Hallifax)
