All Strings Considered to hold CD release event Friday

MARQUETTE - The old-time string band, All Strings Considered, is hosting a release event for their new album, “… better than it sounds” from 6-8 p.m. Friday at The Crib Coffee House and Roastery, 401 N. Third St. in Marquette.
The band will perform a selection of old-time Appalachian-style tunes and songs from their repertory and from the new CD. The CD may be purchased for $15 and each purchase includes a ticket for a free beverage from The Crib. The event is open to the public and family-friendly.
