mBank welcomes Jake Martin

Jake Martin

MANISTIQUE – mBank recently announced the addition of Jake Martin, executive vice president and chief technology officer.

Martin comes to mBank with over 20 years of professional IT and leadership experience, a press release states. Most recently, he was the chief technology officer for Ferris State University, a role he held for almost three years. Prior to that, he also served as the director of IT/HIPAA security officer at Alpena Regional Medical Center from 2011 to 2016 and was the senior vice president of IT/communications at mBank from 2006 to 2011. Martin also served as a corporal with the United States Marine Corps, is a veteran of the Gulf War, has a bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland University College, and an MBA in information management from Aspen University.

“Jake brings a well-known, high level technical and senior leadership skill set to the table that will help us continue our strategic plans,” Kelly W. George, mBank president and CEO, said in the release. “We are glad to have him back to head up our IT, cyber risk and communication areas of the company, as they are critical to our continued growth and organizational success.”
