MARQUETTE — Marquette Wallpaper & Paint and the Hamari brothers are celebrating 72 years of service on Third Street in Downtown Marquette!

Since the business opened in 1946, they’ve seen many changes in the decorating world, including the transition from oil-based to latex paints and technological advances such as computer paint matching, the addition of pint-sized color sample cans and the development of the free Benjamin Moor Color Capture app, which provides the user with a variety of decorating tools. But one thing has remained the same over the years — their commitment to the best personal service. With premium Benjamin Moore and Sikkens ProLuxe Paint and Stain, the Hamari Brothers continue the tradition of offering the best products AND the best advice!!

2018 has seen several additions to the Marquette Wallpaper & Paint product lines, including the Zero VOC “Green Without Compromise” Regal Select and Aura Paints from Benjamin Moore that allow homeowners to paint safely and comfortably all year round.

Another new feature is the addition of all new window treatment samples, and with Darryl Hamari’s 30-plus years of measuring and installing, customers can be sure they’re getting the finest treatments around.

And to cement their status as downtown’s one-stop decorating center, Marquette Wallpaper & Paint also offers framing services, the best key cutting in town, and passport photos.

They have also continued their role as a leader in the recycling of used latex paint and over the years have donated over 3,000 gallons of recycled paint to various local charities.

As the ONLY paint store located in the city of Marquette, the Hamari Brothers and Marquette Wallpaper & Paint thank all of their customers for their patronage over the last 72 years, and look forward to many more years of being YOUR local paint store!
