MARQUETTE — Ishpeming High School’s Gavin Sundberg and Superior Central’s Roubens Fink both have gained recognition on the Associated Press All-State football teams.

Monday, Fink was named to the Associated Press Eight-Player All-State team as a wide receiver. His coach, Sam Eggleston, said it is the first time in the Superior Central football program’s history a player has been named an AP All-Stater.

Sundberg was voted to the honorable mention list as a quarterback on the AP Division 7-8 All-State team announced today.
