Superiorland Baseball League seeks 6th permanent team

MARQUETTE — The Superiorland Baseball League is seeking players and coaches to form a sixth team for the 2019 season.

The adult baseball league is currently in its second season, and is looking to expand from five to six teams for next year.

The league is meant for those who want to continue playing baseball after high school, college or just for fun.

Games are played on Monday nights during the summer from June through August, and are played at Irontown Field in Negaunee, Forsyth Township Ball Field in Gwinn and the Channing baseball field.

The league had a part-time sixth team this season with the Gwinn Travelers, but it only played the first half of the season.

Interested players and coaches can call league co-organizer Zac Sorelle at 458-5579 or email him at sorelle33@hotmail.com.
