CRYSTAL FALLS — Several Marquette County men and women scored points to place at the 12th annual Upper Peninsula Strongman competition held at the Butler Potato Farm in Crystal Falls on Saturday.
The 25 competitors spread over five open and one woman’s division could score in five events — the overhead lift, farmer’s walk-carry, stone-rock lift, push-pull prowler and medley.
The event is a fundraiser for the Forest Park football program, according to organizer and former Trojans football coach Bill Santilli.
