Marquette trio wins scramble

MARQUETTE — The team of Mike Marietta, Chad Wester and Rich Koskey of Marqeutte won the championship flight of the Fall 3-Man Scramble by three strokes at the Marquette Golf Club on Sunday.

Playing on the Greywalls course, the trio shot 55 Saturday and 61 Sunday for a total of 116, coming in just ahead of the 119 posted by Jon Kamps, Mike Parks and Nathan Aho, also of Marquette. The runners-up shot 58 Saturday and 61 Sunday.

Two trios tied for third with 120s — one was an all-Marquette trio of Scott Frazier, Kim Frazier and Kurt Frazier; the other was from Munising, Scott Prunick, Ryan Kolbus and Michael Mannisto.
