Area trio wins golf scramble

MARQUETTE – Marquette-area golfers Dennis Hruska, Scott Koski and Tom Robinson won the Fall 3-Man Scramble on the Greywalls course at the Marquette Golf Club on Sunday by one stroke.

The trio shot 124 over two days on rounds of 59 Saturday and 65 Sunday.

The runners-up in the championship flight were Mike Marietta, Chad Wester and Rich Koskey with 62-63-125, while three teams tied for third with 126 – Ben Specker, Nash Soli and Bruce Crookham had 60-66, Jon Kamps, Mike Parks and Nathan Aho had 61-65 and Jim Scullion, Mike Devine and Scott Erickson had 63-63.

Other top finishers were Dan Nygard, Dan McCutcheon and NIck Gualizzi, 62-68-130; Mark Revord, Eric Revord and Matt Adamczyk, 63-68-131; and Scott Robert, John Robert and Bill Peterson, 63-71-134.
