Pioneer Days is put on by The Negaunee Irontown Association, which is made up of a 20-member board of directors that meets monthly to sort out all the details of planning Pioneer Days each year.
According to Barb Oglesby, vice president of the Negaunee Irontown Association, Pioneer Days brings people from all over back to town.
"It's just a time to see people you don't normally see," she said.
