To the Journal editor:
There seems to be a lot of controversy lately, over people who consider themselves to be Christians believing that homosexuality is morally wrong.
I looked up the definition of "Christian" and found "One who exemplifies in his life, the teachings of Jesus Christ."
I don't claim to be a biblical scholar, but I have recently read through the gospels of Matthew, Luke, Mark and John in their entirety.
Nowhere in these four books could I find Jesus saying anything about homosexuality one way or the other.
Could it be that Jesus considered all of humanity God's children and did not really care about an individual's sexuality?
