Lunn to preach at Messiah Lutheran

MARQUETTE - The Rev. John Lunn, International Coordinator for Lutheran Global Health Volunteers ELCA-GM, will preach at Messiah Lutheran Church on Sunday, July 13. Services are at 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. with a Fellowship Coffee between services.

Lunn is based in Arusha, Tanzania, and helps to match health care volunteers seeking a one-three month assignment with appropriate sites in India, Liberia and Tanzania.

In addition to being an ordained minister, he is also a registered nurse having many years of experience in hospice and palliative care. He is also an Upper Peninsula native, having been born in Wakefield while his father was pastor there.

Following the worship services at 11:30 a.m. on July 13, a lunch will be served and Lunn will present information about his ministry with time for questions and discussion. All are welcome. Call Messiah Lutheran Church at 225-1119 for further information.
