Scaling the weight wall daunting

June 26, 2014
Sharon M. Kennedy , Mining Journal

Recently I read an interesting article by columnist Kent Bush. He wrote an excellent piece on obesity, something I never paid much attention to because I was always thin. When I was a kid, dresses hung on me like rags on a clothesline. I remember yearning for outfits belonging to my sister who was four years my senior. I couldn't wait until I was big enough to fit into her pretty clothes. Alas, I never gained enough weight to look presentable in any item of her wardrobe. All her skirts, blouses, dresses, sweaters, slacks, and coats were relegated to boxes in the storage room above the kitchen.
