MAGNOLIA, TX. - James Michael Kramer, 82, died on May 1, 2014 in Magnolia, TX.
Jim was born on February 10, 1932 in Marquette, Michigan to Frank Michael Kramer and Leslie Katherine Plummer. Jim served four years in the United States Air Force before graduating from Michigan Tech in 1959 with a civil engineering degree.
He worked for Worthington Service Corporation for 19 years and later joined HydroTex Dynamics, Inc., retiring in 1997.
Jim was passionate about golfing and played whenever and wherever he could. He grew the best tomatoes in town. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Kramer, four daughters, Lori England, Katherine (Jeff) Stewart, Julie (Brian) Gerron and Kristy (Brian) Riebe, two sons Steve (Michaele) Kramer and Robert (Patricia) Kramer, and ten grandchildren, Amber Rourke, Jessica Stewart, Makenzie and Alexis Kramer, Michael and Madison Kramer, Ryan and Jason Gerron, Christopher and Sydney Riebe.
A Memorial Mass will be held on May 10, 2014 at 2 pm. St. Matthias Catholic Church, in Magnolia. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
