Blackrocks Brewery hosted the fourth Annual Noquemanon Trails Network Dirtball at its production canning facility on West Washington Street on April 26. Nearly 300 people attended the social event which raises funds for continued development of the NTN's non-motorized singletrack trail system. In addition to socializing with like minded trail lovers, attendees had a chance to interact with a number of the NTN's partners including representatives from the International Mountain Biking Association, Trail Genius interactive mapping, 906 Adventure Club, Superior Watershed Partnership, the Marquette Trails Festival, the City of Marquette, the Range Mountain Bike Club from Ishpeming, the Munising Bay Trail Network and the NTN Skijor Club. In addition to hosting the event, Blackrock's owners Dave Manson and Andy Langlois announced their support for the trail organization by presenting a donation to become the title sponsors of the Marquette Trails Festival as well as the lead sponsor of the trail network for 2014. We plan to continue to support the NTN and have designated a percentage of all sales of our 51K IPA beer to fund local trail projects."
