MARQUETTE - MooseWood Nature Center's 2014 Annual Meeting will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the nature Center at Presque Isle Park, Marquette.
After a short business meeting a two-projector program on the life of a wolf pack will be presented.
The program will follow the life of a group of wolves through an entire year exploring their very social lives, raising their pups, finding food and maintaining a territory. The program will also look at the lives of wolves on Isle Royale and their relationship with the moose and beaver on the island, the reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone National Park and the recent history of wolves in the Upper Peninsula. The program will also highlight recent research analyzing the effects of wolves on their physical environment, the way the landscape changes in their presence.
