NEGAUNEE - Carl Branstrom scored 27 points to lead Herb's of Rock to an 83-72 victory over Wings & Things of Marquette at the Negaunee Invitational Tournament at Lakeview Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday.
Herb's also got 20 points from Travis Depuydt in this Class DD game, while Nate Abrams scored 19 points and Brandon Frisk 17 for Wings & Things.
In another DD game, Rob Koskey scored 20 points to help Eastwood of Negaunee ease past Martin Sports of Gwinn, 62-56. Teammate Josh Wernholm added 13 points, while Martin was paced by Tyler Norman and George Parker with 11 apiece.

Also in Class DD, Shirt Tails of Iron Mountain slipped by Sodergren Septic of Ishpeming, 74-70. Rich Poma scored 24 points and Morris Hill 12 for the winners, while Brandon Lawson had 22 and Griffin Lawson 16 for Sodergren.
In the fourth DD game of the day, Mike Miller scored 31 points to lead Lee's Grocery to a 62-56 victory over Copper Country Classics of Copper City.
Teammate Cody Whitens added 15 points for the winners, while Make Nolan had 27, Steve Mattson 26 and Jason Carter 20 for CCC, the defending DD champs.
Jimmy Veker scored 27 points to help PAC of Covington outscore AuTrain Grocery, 78-71, in Class EE. Jim Lafernier added 22 points and Matt Salli 12 to the winning effort, while AuTrain got 27 from Paul Johns and 12 each from Adam Livermore and Scottie Bond.
Also in Class EE, Scott Rodda put in 18 points and Kurt Alto 14 in a 70-57 victory posted by Meyer Family Vision of Republic over Skip's Auto of Superior Central/Eben.
Tyler Kienitz scored 23 points and Skip Rutter 14 for Skip's.
In Class E, Tom Nolan scored 29 points to lead Wilderness Recovery of Munising to an 82-42 win over Waara's Warriors & Friends of Palmer. Pat Godfrey added 13 points for the victors, while Austin Waara had 20 and Jonny Waara 10 for the Warriors.
