Throttle sled night benefits UPAWS

A recent sled night at the Throttle Bar & Grill in Little Lake raised $1,800 for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. Shown at the event are, from left, future Throttle owners John Paris and Amanda Washburn, current Throttle owners Scott and Sally Searle, UPAWS board President Reva Laituri, UPAWS shelter manager Lareina VanStrien and UPAWS board member Lynn Andronis. This past winter's sled nights raised a total of $11,000 that was donated to various organizations in the community.
