March 27, 2014
The Mining Journal

Chris Swenor is shown with the quilt she made and donated, along with the Viking Store, to the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight program that was raffled off at the U.P. Builders Show. The raffle raised $1,017 for the U.P. Honor Flight program, which was also provided with a booth at the show where $618 in donations were collected. Staffing the booth were Honor Flight volunteers Frank Donckers, Larry and Patty Collister, Jeff Marlow, Doug Dykema, Bill Virch, Gary and Llewanne Salo, Dewey and Susan LaJoice Jones and Barb Van Rooy; and Honor Flight veterans Bob Moore, Jerry LaJoice and Niron Virch.
