Care for Mentally Ill Loved Ones

MARQUETTE - A Series to Help Families Care for Mentally Ill Loved Ones will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. every Tuesday starting Feb. 18 through May 6 at 129 W. Baraga Ave., Marquette.

Family members of individuals diagnosed with a Mental Illness can attend this 12 week session Family to Family education course to be offered by National Alliance on Mental Illness Alger/Marquette.

The course will cover a broad range of topics, including information about schizophrenia, mood disorders (bipolar disorder and major depression) panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD.

The course is designed specifically for parents, siblings, spouses, teenage, adult children, friends and significant others of people with mental illness.
