ISHPEMING - Derek DeCaire turned in the basketball game of his high school career Monday night.
The 6-foot-0 senior poured in a career-high 33 points and grabbed seven rebounds to power Ishpeming High School to a 74-59 non-conference triumph over visiting Houghton.
DeCaire knocked down 17 points in the third quarter as the Class ABC No. 4-ranked Hematites improved to 9-2 on the season.

"He made 3-point shots, got some steals for layups and made some shots. He was unstoppable."
Bobby Zhulkie added 16 points for Ishpeming, which broke the game open with a 23-12 burst in the third quarter.
