ISHPEMING - The NICE Community Schools Child and Family Resource Center formal/prom dress resale will be from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Westwood High School in Ishpeming.
Twenty percent of the proceeds will go to the Family Resource Center and 80 percent will go to the seller.
Any funds raised by this sale will be used to purchase snacks, supplies and books for the weekly playgroup which is offered free of charge and open to all families in the Upper Peninsula.
Sellers are welcome to drop dresses off from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Westwood Media Center. Dresses may also be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 1.
The seller is required to fill out an information slip stating the price, size, the year and where the dress was worn along with a brief description. No dresses priced over $200 or older than 10 years will be accepted.
Unsold dresses must be picked before 3 p.m. Feb. 1, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Any dresses not picked up will be donated to the Women's and Children's Center. All dresses will be sold "as is," with no returns or exchanges.
