'Enough Said' screening Tuesday
MARQUETTE - A screening of "Enough Said" will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library, Marquette.
A divorced and single parent, Eva spends her days enjoying work as a masseuse but dreading her daughter's impending departure for college. She meets Albert, a sweet, funny and like-minded man also facing an empty nest.
This film is a sharp, insightful comedy that humorously explores the mess that often comes with getting involved again. Starring James Gandolfini, Julia Louise Dreyfus and Catherine Keener, "Enough Said" was released in October 2013, is rated PG-13 and runs for 91 minutes.

100DayProject to launch Tuesday
MARQUETTE - The launch date for the community 100DayProject will be on Tuesday.
The Community 100DayProject invites people to create small daily acts of art everyday for 100 days in a row.

Registering offers virtual gallery space and a subscription to the E-newsletter.
The MACC, partner to the 100DayProject, will serve as a point of communication for people who have registered.
There will be optional, monthly check-in meetings at the Art Center for those who want to update or get support from other members. When the 100 days are over, there will be a celebration where artists can present their work at the Ore Dock Brewing Co. from 3-5 p.m May 17. Luttinen to host presentation

Margrif family nativity collection
MARQUETTE - Carol Margrif will give a talk and tour on the who, what, where, why, and how as it pertains to the Margrif family nativity collection housed at the Peter White Public Library from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Shiras Room of the library, Marquette.
She will share some of the interesting stories about people and places visited during the acquisition of the creches. They represent many different countries as well as art media.
'A Room With a View' screening
MARQUETTE - Peter White Public Library's Film Club will be screening "A Room With a View" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library, Marquette.
An adaptation of E. M. Forster's novel of the same name, "A Room With a View" stars Maggie Smith, Helen Bonham Carter and Denholm Elliott. The story involves Lucy Honeychurch and chaperone Charlotte Bartlett who find themselves in Florence with rooms without views until fellow guests Mr. Emerson and son George step in to remedy the situation.
The three time Oscar winning film was released in 1985, is rated PG-13 and runs for 117 minutes.

Ishpeming Torch Light Trek event
ISHPEMING - The Ishpeming Torch Light Trek youth cross country ski event will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Al Quaal Recreation Area on the north side of Ishpeming next to Birchview School.
A short loop will be groomed on the School Yard Trail just east of Birchview School and tiki torches will be lit to guide the way. The Torch Light Trek is geared for beginner youth skiers who are just learning or have never tried cross country skiing, but everyone is welcome. Participation is free and kids will receive a commemorative ribbon as a keepsake.
A limited amount of rental equipment will be provided free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
Adults and kids who have their own equipment are encouraged to bring their gear and participate.
The event will be hosted by the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame.
