MARQUETTE - The city of Marquette will feature works by Sue Roubal, Marc Himes and Charlice Stewart at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center Main Gallery beginning next month.
The combined show, "Rock, Water, Wood," is a tribute to the city's environment with pastels, oils and turned bowls.
The Small Works Gallery will feature work by Paul Grant titled "Revisiting People and Places," inspired by subjects over the last four decades.
Grant, a Michigan native, has spent the greater part of the last four decades living and painting in Marquette. His exhibit will display watercolor, oil and charcoal works.
The Main Gallery and Small Works Gallery run from Feb. 4 to March 1. The public is invited to an opening reception for the artists from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 6. Refreshments will be available.
The MACC is located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library at 217 N. Front St. For details, call 228-0472 or email email@example.com.
