MARQUETTE - Pamela Ann Wilder, age 46, of 1915 Longyear Avenue, Marquette, entered eternal life Sunday, December 29, 2013, at her home.
Pam was born October 22, 1967 in Oxnard, California, and was a long time Marquette area resident.
Pam was, at heart, a people person who found her greatest fulfillment in helping others. She was always placing the needs of others before her own and, as a woman of faith, was godly and caring in her dealings with others. A talented cook and baker, you never left her home hungry and she was always willing to share recipes and tips. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and simply couldn't resist playing pranks on family and friends, especially when it came to scaring them. Pam was actively involved in her church, the Abundant Life Outreach Church, and it was a big part of her life. She also performed volunteer work at the Salvation Army.
Pam is survived by her husband, Wally Wilder of Marquette; her children, Fred Wilder of Ishpeming, Carrie Wilder and Michael Wilder both of Marquette; her parents, Bruce and Caroline Stenfors of Tennessee; sisters, Sandy (Cary) Lincoln of Negaunee, Sherry (Craig) Katajamaki of Ishpeming; her brother, William (Amanda) Stenfors of Negaunee; and best friend, Tammy (Brett) Hanson of Ishpeming.
Pam was preceded in death by a nephew, Steven Stenfors.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Abundant Life Outreach Church (Located in the Masonic Center, Marquette) on Friday, January 3, beginning at 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 noon.
Pastor Bryan Langston will officiate and a reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Abundant Life Outreach Church, P.O. Box 603, Marquette, MI 49855.
