December 6, 2013
The Mining Journal

Members of Marquette Firefighters Local 643 presents a $2,270 check to Carl Fulsher of The American Cancer Society. Included at the presentation are, from left, firefighter Ken LaMarre, relief engineer Mike Gwinn, Fulsher, engineer and Local 643 President Brian Anderson, Lt. Jeff Green, and firefighter Kirk Vogler. The money was raised selling 454 pink t-shirts that were worn in October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The firefighters sold the shirts and donated the proceeds to The American Cancer Society with the understanding that the money would be used locally for breast cancer issues.
