MARQUETTE - The Michigan Department of Natural Resources' eastern and western Upper Peninsula advisory councils have postponed their December meetings until January.
The meetings were rescheduled because of a range of conflicts, DNR officials said in a news release.
The western council had planned to meet Dec. 9 in Escanaba, but will instead meet Jan. 13.
The eastern council was scheduled to meet Thursday in Newberry, but the session has been rescheduled for Jan. 23.
Agenda items scheduled for December will be addressed at the January meetings. Meeting times and locations will be announced in early January with a press release and also posted online at www.michigan.gov/upcac.
