MARQUETTE - The Ishpeming High School football team is heading back to Detroit to play in its second-straight MHSAA Division 7 state championship at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Ford Field.
The Hematites (13-0) will play Detroit Loyola (13-0) in a rematch of the 2012 Div. 7 title game won by Ishpeming, 20-14, at Ford Field.
Loyola won its state semifinal game 52-7 on Saturday against Homer.

Ishpeming eliminated the 2012 MHSAA Div. 8 state champions, Harbor Beach, on Saturday 44-10 at the Superior Dome in one of three state semifinal football games on the Northern Michigan University campus.
In the first game, Beal City beat Forest Park 34-18 in a Div. 8 semifinal. Menominee plays Muskegon Oakridge in the evening game for a spot in the Div. 5 championship.
