PALMER, MI. - Mary Lou Fraley, 75, of Palmer, died at 5:50 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she had resided since Oct. 31st.
Mary Lou was born September 5, 1938 in Palmer to Phillip and Louise (LaMere) Liquia and attended Negaunee Public Schools. She lived in Milwaukee for over 30 years, where she was employed as a factory worker for a utility products company. She was also a wonderful homemaker and Mom. Following retirement, Mary Lou and her husband returned to the U.P. in 1999.
During her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, dancing, working puzzles, and playing BINGO. Mary Lou also enjoyed flower gardening and spending time in the kitchen, and she was an excellent cook. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, Keith A. Fraley; her son, Dale (Laurie) Aderman of Greenfield, WI; 2 daughters: Cheryl (Tommy) Avery of Milwaukee and Dawn Fraley of Gwinn; 5 grandchildren: Jacob and Taylor Aderman, Eric and Trevor Juchemich, and Roneiya Marshall; a great-granddaughter, Aliana Aderman; 2 brothers: Roland (Donna) Liquia of Suomi Location and Dennis (Jackie) Liquia of Midway Location; 2 sisters: Carol Liquia and Betty (David) Vadnais, both of Ishpeming; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Shirley Arnold and Muriel Glavin; and 2 brothers: Edward and Lowell Liquia.
A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, November 25th at the Koskey Funeral Home, at which time the family will greet relatives and friends. Interment will be in the Negaunee Cemetery.
