Local cousins produce childrens book

MARQUETTE - Local author Milly (Talo) Balzarini of Marquette and her cousin and artist Michael Talo of Ishpeming have combined to create and publish a new children's book titled, "A Day With Stanley." This colorful tale tells the story of Stanley the sheep and his quick thinking to warn some friends of a bully who's coming to do harm. Balzarini is a graduate of Northern Michigan University, and is also the author of "The Lost Road Home,"a book on post traumatic stress disorder and how it has affected combat veterans and their families. Talo is originally from downstate Wayne County and has done free-lance work for WCW, Corona, Joe Cool Fashion and Design, and created the company "Aqua Air" pool painting in Daytona Beach, Fla.
