ISHPEMING - The Ladies Guild at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming will hold its 69th annual bazaar Wednesday.
There will be quilts, afghans and other craft items made by the guild sewing circle available, as well as a bake sale and a white elephant sale of donated items.
There will also be a salad luncheon, which Ladies Guild President Ann Trudell said is the best in the city and features more than 25 different kinds of salads.

Trudell said the bazaar will have a variety of little events going on.
"It's just going to please everybody," she said.
Money raised at the bazaar will go back to the community, Trudell said, because that's where the church's money comes from. She said a portion of the funds go to the Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank in Ishpeming and the Ishpeming St. Vincent de Paul and Salvation Army food pantries.
For Trudell and the other members of the guild, it's a way to give back.
"The whole community comes for this thing," she said. "It's a good thing. It's a really good thing."
The bazaar will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, which is located at 1889 Prairie St.
