To the Journal editor:
The current political mess in Washington, D.C., is sad and has been creating a large amount of globally embarrassment.
However, from a different point of view, we have been prouder than ever of U.S. Representatives who speak for the millions of Americans that tell us that we simply cannot afford to pay for Obamacare.
We are on the verge of national bankruptcy, yet President Obama and the Democratic senators are telling us that we have an unlimited amount of funds and, therefore, we do not need our representatives during financial negotiations.
Nearly 250 years ago, the U.S. citizens built America in such a way that a financial disaster would never happen yet President Obama completely ignores the seriousness of our national debt.
Regardless of the final outcome, I feel that the Republican U.S. Congress will eventually become heroes in this matter.
