NEWBERRY - An update on the wolf hunting season license sales is included on the agenda for Thursday's meeting of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Eastern Upper Peninsula Citizens Advisory Council.
The council meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn on M-28.
Other items up for discussion include preliminary bear season harvest report, the new license fee package and additional revenues expected and DNR division reports
The Eastern Upper Peninsula and Western Upper Peninsula CACs are designed to advise the DNR on regional programs and policies, identify areas in which the department can be more effective and responsive, and offer insight and guidance from members' own experiences and constituencies.
