John D. “Jack” Weber

NEGAUNEE, MI. - John David 'Jack' Weber, 51, of 445 Peninsula St., Negaunee, died unexpectedly early Friday morning, October 11th, 2013 at his home.

Jack was born June 16, 1962 in Owosso, Michigan to John and Barbara (McBride) Weber and was raised in Midland. He moved to the Upper Peninsula and graduated from Manistique High School, Class of 1980. He was employed for Pepsi-Cola in Marquette for the past 5 years.

Surviving are his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy (Alspaugh) Weber; his mother, Barbara (Jack) Weber of Escanaba; his son, Justin (Courtney) Weber of Denton, TX; his daughter, Amanda Weber of Milwaukee; 4 brothers: Stephen (Chris) Weber of California, Patrick (Michelle) Weber of California, Michael (Greg) Evans-Weber of California and James (Linda) Weber of Wisconsin; 5 sisters: Beth (Jim) Moore of California, Kathy Weber of New Mexico, Mary (Michael) Shomin of Wisconsin, Jennifer Mattson of Bark River and Amy Kuehl of Rapid River; his mother-in-law, Ann Alspaugh; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jack was preceded in death by his father and his father-in-law, Fred Alspaugh.

Honoring Jack's wishes, private family services will be held at the Keweenaw Bay Cemetery in Baraga Township.
