MARQUETTE - Jocelyn Benson, dean of Wayne State University Law School, will present "What the Campaign Ads Don't Tell Us" at 3 p.m. Wednesday, in Reynolds Recital Hall at Northern Michigan University, Marquette.
She will address the need for transparency in election ads and share other thoughts on election laws.. It is free and open to the public.
In addition to her role as law school dean, Benson is founder and director of the Michigan Center for Election Law. She also serves as president of the Military Spouses of Michigan. She is a Harvard Law School graduate and holds a master's degree in philosophy from Oxford University in the United Kingdom and a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College.
