Prep volleyball: Munising improves to 8-0 with win

HARRIS - Munising used several long strings of serves to power past Bark River-Harris and stay undefeated this season in a high school volleyball match played Monday evening.

The Mustangs (8-0 overall, 8-0 Central Upper Peninsula Conference) won 25-19, 25-10, 25-20.

Munising junior Karlee Decet had a long string of serves near the end of the first set, while freshman teammate Frankie Mattson made four of her six service aces in the second set.

The Mustangs also trailed late in the third set before reeling off a string of points for the straight-sets victory.

Decet had four kills and two aces, Mattson three kills and senior Megan Watson four aces and 12 digs.

BR-H won the JV match, 25-15, 22-25, 15-12.
