Dancers place well in Thunderstruck

Students at New Attitudes Dance Studios students participated in the Thunderstruck competition in Green Bay, Wis., early this summer. Included were: Front row, from left, Skylar Taavola, Norah Daley, Lexi Taavola, Jada Clark and Ally O'Neill; and back row, from left, Kylee Taavola, Lauren Kurzawa, Sydney Mechling, Olivia O'Connell, Emma O'Connell, Kylie L'Huillier and Jayme L'Huillier. Thunderstruck is a regional and national level competition held in about 20 cities across the United States. The studio brought 16 entries to the competition receiving gold, high gold, and lightning gold placements. The dancers also received the second place overall high score award for small group jazz. Several students also received overall placement awards in the solo categories.
