Quebecois folk group at NMU

MARQUETTE -The Quebecois folk group will perform a concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 3, at the Reynolds Recital Hall on the campus of Northern Michigan University, Marquette.

There will be a French Canadian family history event and folk dance at 6 p.m. Oct. 4, at the city of Marquette Arts and Culture Center, Marquette. The event is open to the entire public, but people of French Canadian heritage are encouraged to bring family photo albums and genealogical information to share with others at the event. There will also be French Canadian food items to enjoy.

The folk dance will begin with music provided by Mil at 7:30 p.m., a suggested donation of $5 for adults and $1 for students is appreciated.
