MARQUETTE -The 100 Day Project will be on display Oct. 1 through Nov.15, at the city of Marquette Arts and Culture Center at the Peter White Public Library, Marquette.
This exhibit will be a collection of artwork created over 100 consecutive days by nine Upper Michigan artists.
Gallery visitors will see how each artist worked with a simple idea and the evolution of it over a period of 100 days.
The artists participating are Louisa Barkalow, Catherine Benda, Julie Benda, Jason Limberg, Melissa Middleton, Diana Magnuson, Peg McNinch, Ann Russ and Elizabeth Yelland.
An opening reception will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 5, with a special artists talk at 5 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend an informational meeting about starting their own 100 Day Project at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12, at the MACC.
