Quinn new leader of GLCYD

MARQUETTE - Amy Quinn has been appointed president and chief executive officer of the Great Lakes Center for Youth Development.

Quinn Has 10 years of nonprofit experience in consulting, fundraising and management, as well as eight years of experience in risk management and business development with Cargill Inc.

She has an associate's degree from Northeastern Junior College and a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University and is completing her masters of business administration at Northern Michigan University.

In her new position as President & CEO, Quinn is responsible for providing leadership for the overall operations of the organization, its finances, board relations, staffing, strategic program direction, organizational policy, evaluation, and internal and external communications.

GLCYD has also hired Chad Mager as an associate. Mager has worked with youths in some capacity for 20 years.

He has a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in training, development & performance improvement from Northern Michigan University.
