Local golf: Marquette trio wins fall scramble at Greywalls

MARQUETTE - A trio of Marquette residents shot 63 on the second and final day Sunday to wrap up victory in the championship flight at the annual Marquette Golf Club fall scramble held on the Greywalls course.

KC Bjorne, Aaron Swanson and Scott Koski had the best score among the top contenders Sunday after coming into the day tied for first place when they shot 57 on Saturday.

Also shooting 57 Saturday were Cody Langdon, Zak Langdon and Joe Strong.

With the winning team shooting 120, two other Marquette teams were next in the overall standings after each shot 59 Saturday and 64 Sunday for a 124 total - Bob Luke, Jon Kamps and Bud White ended up as runners-up while Jim Scullion, Scott Erickson and Mike Devine were third.
