Conversation about ‘After Oil’

September 11, 2013
The Mining Journal

MARQUETTE- The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will begin another season by holding a conversation about the book "After Oil," edited by John Michael Greer, at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Conference Room of Peter White Public Library, Marquette.

"After Oil" is a collection of short stories by readers of Greer's blog, The Archdruid Report. Each story raises one or two issues that we might face as fossil fuels become more scarce and expensive, including transportation, food supply, medical situations, family/social relationships, and appropriate use of technology.
