Local golf: Wisconsin duo tops field at Red Fox Run senior scramble

GWINN - A team from Park Falls., Wis., claimed top honors Sept. 5 in the Fifth Annual Red Fox Run 2-Man Senior Scramble. Golfers Jim Litwaitis and Jack Woodall shot a 9-under-par 61 to win the 70-plus division.

Other division winners follow:

50-59: Dan Adamini and Fr. Ron Timmock, 6-under-par 64. 60-69: John Mallon and David Cooper, 7-under-par 63. Ed Flath and Wells Chapin (a birdie on No. 2), and Steve Peffers and Mike Kosher (birdie on No. 12), were the day's only skin winners.

A total of 70 golfers took part in the scramble.
