MARQUETTE, MI. - David Gutzman, age 72, of Marquette, entered eternal life on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Norlite Nursing Center in the loving care of his family.

David was born in Marquette on April 20, 1941, a son of Carl and Mildred (LaJeunesse) Gutzman. He was a graduate of the Graveraet High School class of 1959 and on February 6, 1960 he married the former Caroline Skoog. Following graduation from high school he went to work for the Marquette County Road Commission as a truck driver for 36 years until his retirement in 1996. David was a member of St. Louis the King Catholic Church in Harvey. In his spare time he loved taking rides in the woods, deer hunting, coffee clutching with friends and enjoyed an occasional trip around Presque Isle while eating ice cream. His family was his greatest joy and he never missed an opportunity in watching his grandchildren compete in sporting events.

David will be deeply missed by his family and many beloved friends.
