MARQUETTE - Marquette County's two bowling centers are accepting individuals, groups and full teams for fall leagues that are starting as soon as this week and next.

Country Lanes in Ishpeming has mixed leagues with teams of three, four or five people for men and women on Wednesday and Friday nights, with men's only leagues on Monday and Tuesday nights and women's only on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday evening.

The center plans a new Sunday night every-other-week league that includes any combination of men and women.

For more information, call Country Lanes at 486-8000.

Superior Lanes in Marquette Township has mixed leagues with any combination of four or five men and women on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, along with several other fun leagues, such as nine-pin no-tap, a Miller Lite League and a Marquette General Hospital employee league.

For more information, call Superior Lanes at 225-9230 or visit its website at www.wingsandbowling.com.

Both houses also host several weekly senior citizen sessions, instructional clinics and youth leagues.
