MARQUETTE, Mich. - Carol Marie White, 77, of Oakwood Village, Marquette, died Monday morning, August 26, 2013 at her home.
Carol was born September 3, 1935 in Benton Harbor, MI to Stanley and Leona (Corrette) White, was a graduate of Marquette Graveraet High School, and was a lifelong area resident. She completed a program in Audiology Technology and worked as a technician for the Negaunee Public Schools and other Upper Peninsula school districts for many years.
Carol was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and camping.
Surviving are three sons: Michael (Kathleen) Airaudi of Costa Rica, Timothy (Betty) Airaudi of Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, Robert (Dana) Airaudi of Ishpeming, one daughter, Angela (Michael) Gravedoni of Green Bay, WI, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers: Philip (Barbara) White of Marquette, Arthur White, a foster daughter, Karole Rogers Burns, special friends: Ellida & Toby Maki, George Chiconsky, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 3rd at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Marquette, with Rev. Chad Ott officiating. Burial will be in Northland Chapel Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 am until the time of services at noon at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorial s may be directed to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Carol's memory.
