White Water to perform

August 22, 2013
The Mining Journal

CRYSTAL FALLS - The Crystal Theatre in Crystal Falls will present White Water in concert at 7 p.m. CT Sunday. Part of the "Gem of a Season" series, this concert replaces Hitsville Live, which canceled due to medical issues.

In October, White Water will begin its 28th season of Second Sunday Folk Concert/Dances at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp.

The Premos will be joined by Carrie Dlutkowski on fiddle and her mother Susan on piano. Carrie, concertmaster of the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, has been a featured musician with White Water for several years. Under Dean Premo's guidance, Carrie built a hammer dulcimer and, under Bette's tutelage, she has developed into a fine player. Carrie will also show off her French-Canadian fiddling, foot percussion, and step dancing.

Purchase advance tickets online at thecrystaltheatre.org or call 367-4072. Admission at the door will be $18 for adults, $5 for 17 and younger.
