GLORIA CAIN

She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother who supported her children in every endeavor they took on, spending hours at the ice rink, ski hill and soccer field. Always telling them that they could do anything they set their minds to. Gloria was a very strong, caring, and selfless person who always put her family first.

Besides her career and family, Gloria was well known for her beautiful knitting projects, creating sweaters, afghans and scarves, but her incredible Christmas stockings were the envy of all.

Gloria is survived by her son, Dennis Cain (Karen) of Loveland, Colorado; daughters, Debi (Kirby) Juntila of Marquette, and Denise Cain of Manchester, Michigan; grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Cain, Olivia and Drew Juntila. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her infant son, Clyde and sister Grace Sanford.

The Family would like to thank Dr. Mike Grossman, Tami Grobar, and all of the nurses and aides who took such loving care of our mother.

Arrangements are being handled by the Swanson-Lundquist Funeral Home where a memorial service will be scheduled for the Thanksgiving weekend. Condolences may be expressed online at swansonlundquistfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to UPAWS (animal shelter) at 84 Snowfield Road, Negaunee, MI 49866 or Marquette County Medical Care Facility, in care of the Recreation Fund at 200 Saginaw St., Ishpeming, MI 49849.
